Job summary

Greggs in Birdwell is seeking a Shift Manager to join our team and lead operations when the Store Manager isn’t on shift. You will motivate colleagues, ensure the shop runs smoothly, and help deliver an outstanding customer experience across in-store and online channels.

Expect to inspire the team, serve customers quickly and warmly, and oversee product preparation and oven management. A focus on stocking displays and maintaining a clean, presentable shop is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Reliable with natural leadership abilities and passion for exceptional customer service.
• Previous team supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the excellent standards of the shop.
• Lead by example and serve customers in a fast and friendly manner.
• Prepare our products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens.
• Ensure displays are fully stocked with plenty of choice for customers.
• Keep the shop clean, tidy and presentable.

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and you'll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.

As part of the management team,you'llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn'taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
