Job summary

Greggs is seeking a Shift Manager in Belfast to lead the shop when the Manager isn’t present, guiding a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences across in-store and online orders.

You will inspire staff, role-model fast and friendly service, and ensure product quality, oven management, and appealing displays. Prior supervisory experience in a customer-focused setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two items minimum: leadership and customer service excellence.
• Experience supervising a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Back up and support the shop manager during a shift.
• Motivate and develop the team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Prepare products, manage ovens, and ensure displays are stocked and shop looks inviting.
• Interact with customers across in-store, delivery, Click+Collect and online order channels.

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.

As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
