Job summary

Greggs Beeston is seeking a Shift Manager to lead the shop when the Manager isn’t on duty. You’ll engage and motivate the team, ensuring every shift delivers excellent customer service and smooth operations across all channels.

Contract hours are 20–25 per week at £14.00 per hour (including a 20p band increment). The role is on site at 27 High Road Beeston, with benefits such as staff discount, free hot drinks, paid breaks, pension, and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• You’ll be reliable and demonstrate natural leadership abilities.
• You’ll be supervisory experience in a similar, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shop in the absence of the Manager and motivate the team.
• Serve customers in a fast and friendly manner.
• Prepare products, including sandwiches and oven management.
• Keep displays stocked with a wide range of choices.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and presentable shop.

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.

As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
