Job summary

Mission Resourcing is seeking a time-served Shift Engineer for a fast-paced manufacturing site in Stokesley, North Yorkshire. The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance of plant and equipment to support reliability, performance and continuous improvement while minimising downtime.

The successful candidate will perform PPM and reactive maintenance, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, and drive improvements working closely with production teams to uphold safety, quality and engineering

Qualifications

• Time-served multi-skilled maintenance engineer with electrical bias.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing environment is essential.
• Strong fault-finding and preventative maintenance capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults across site equipment.
• Improve asset reliability and reduce downtime through root-cause analysis.
• Support continuous improvement projects and handover clear issues to teams.
• Maintain accurate engineering records and update maintenance systems.
