Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Shift Lead to guide in-store teams and ensure excellent customer service. You’ll lead across departments, coach colleagues, and act as the on‑the‑floor leader in the Manager’s absence. The role emphasizes inclusivity and strong communication to support customers and colleagues.

Pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and options for 12‑hour shifts. Applicants must be 18 or over.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at �15.59 per hour, rising to �16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
