Tesco is hiring a Shift Lead to oversee store operations and deliver outstanding in-store experiences. You will lead a team, assist across store areas, and act as the manager in the Manager’s absence, ensuring flexible, customer-focused service.

Typical duties include coaching, decision-making in changing conditions, and building an inclusive team culture. Shifts are scheduled with notice, and minimum hours are guaranteed.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
