Tesco Shift Lead in Ramsgate is a frontline role where you supervise store teams to deliver great customer experiences. You’ll work across store areas, support colleagues, and step in for the manager when needed.

You’ll schedule contracted hours, maintain flexible availability, and help create an inclusive, results-driven environment. The role emphasises service, teamwork and adapting to daily retail demands.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

You will be responsible for

• Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.
• Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries.
• Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best.
• Confidently leading the store in the Manager’s absence.
• Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting well to change.
• Coaching colleagues, giving feedback and role modelling great service.
• Staying curious and seeking opportunities to serve our customers, communities, and planet a little better every day.

You will need

• To be over 18 for this role.
