Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking a Shift Lead Engineer to provide on-site technical leadership in a busy Central London retail environment. You will coordinate maintenance activities and ensure safe, reliable operation of site infrastructure.

As the senior engineer on shift you will lead a skilled team, manage fault diagnosis and incidents, and support service continuity and customer experience. The role requires 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm/7pm-7am) on an alternating 4 on/4 off rota.

Qualifications

• Must have electrical qualifications and be able to supervise a team.
• On-call availability is required.
• Strong background in engineering maintenance and site services.
• Experience with critical infrastructure or building services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities during shift operations.
• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance works.
• Support fault diagnosis and incident management.
• Monitor compliance with site procedures.
• Review permits and maintenance documentation.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the team.
