Job summary

B&Q Limited in Middlesbrough is hiring a part-time Shift Lead (25 hours per week) to cover early and late shifts, including store opening or closing. You’ll be the heartbeat of daily operations, ensuring customers have a safe, smooth shopping experience and that staff are deployed effectively to meet demand. We offer £14.50 per hour (£18,850 p.a.

Shift Lead - Part time.

Part time - 25 Hours per week

£14.50 per hour (18,850 per annum ) + Pension + 6.6 Weeks Holiday

As a keyholder, you'll be required to support either store opening or store closing duties. This means shifts can start as early as 5am or finish as late as 11pm, depending on the needs of the business.

Your role as a Shift Lead is pivotal in ensuring a safe working and shopping environment. You’re the person who will oversee your shift to cultivate a great experience for both colleagues and customers daily. It’s B&Q’s ambition to make every customer count, so you’ll strive to ensure B&Q is a place colleagues love to work, and customers love to shop. In this role you will:

• Be the heartbeat of the store day-to-day and ensure operations are running smoothly.
• Make sure colleagues are deployed correctly to ‘make every customer count’ throughout your shift.
• Be the first point of contact for customers and colleagues.
• Make sure our stores are safe at all times.
