Müller Group in Droitwich is seeking an experienced Shift Lead for the Droitwich Dairy production team. You will lead and develop the shift, ensuring safety, quality and cost targets are met while building capability across the team.

You will own shift performance, coach and empower colleagues, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in food manufacturing, FMCG or production environments.

We’re looking for an experienced Shift Lead to join our Productionteam at Müller Droitwich Dairy.

This is a great opportunity for a strong people leader who enjoys being close to the operation, developing teams and finding better ways of working. You’ll take ownership of shift performance, creating an environment where people feel supported, challenged and empowered to deliver their best.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring we deliver against our safety, quality, service and cost objectives, while building capability within your team and driving continuous improvement across the department.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Be a visible leader on the shop floor, taking a proactive "Go, Look, See" approach and leading by example.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who can bring energy, accountability and strong people leadership to the role. You’ll ideally have:

• Proven leadership experience within Food Manufacturing, FMCG, Production or a similar fast-paced environment.
• Strong people management, coaching and development skills.
• Experience managing performance, development and employee relations.
• The confidence to make decisions and solve problems in a fast-moving operational environment.
• A genuine passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• The ability to engage, motivate and develop teams to achieve great results.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships across different functions.
• Experience with continuous improvement tools and methodologies would be advantageous.
