Müller UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Shift Lead for our Droitwich Dairy production site. This permanent, full-time role operates on a 3-week rotating shift (06:00-15:00 and 15:00-00:00) and centers on leading a team on the shop floor to meet performance targets.

You will develop and coach team members, drive problem-solving and waste reduction initiatives, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver improvements across the operation.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience within Food Manufacturing, FMCG or production.
• Strong people management, coaching and development skills.
• Experience managing performance and employee relations.
• Ability to make decisions quickly in a fast-moving operational environment.
• Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Ability to engage and develop teams to achieve results.
• Strong communication and cross-functional relationship skills.
• Experience with continuous improvement tools advantageous.

We're looking for an experienced Shift Lead to join our Productionteam at Müller Droitwich Dairy.

This is a great opportunity for a strong people leader who enjoys being close to the operation, developing teams and finding better ways of working. You'll take ownership of shift performance, creating an environment where people feel supported, challenged and empowered to deliver their best.

You'll play a key role in ensuring we deliver against our safety, quality, service and cost objectives, while building capability within your team and driving continuous improvement across the department.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who can bring energy, accountability and strong people leadership to the role. You'll ideally have:

• Proven leadership experience within Food Manufacturing, FMCG, Production or a similar fast-paced environment.
• Strong people management, coaching and development skills.
• Experience managing performance, development and employee relations.
• The confidence to make decisions and solve problems in a fast-moving operational environment.
• A genuine passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• The ability to engage, motivate and develop teams to achieve great results.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships across different functions.
• Experience with continuous improvement tools and methodologies would be advantageous.
