Job summary

Stagecoach East is seeking a Shift Fitter in Peterborough to join our Engineering Team. You will maintain and repair buses to ensure reliability and roadworthiness, working within a 5-on/2-off style shift pattern with training provided as needed.

The role requires an NVQ Level 3 in a relevant subject and about 1 year of engineering experience. PCV licence is preferred, with an opportunity for on-site training and development.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering is essential.
• Engineering experience of 1 year is required.
• PCV licence is preferred but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Stagecoach vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.
• Work as part of the maintenance team to keep vehicles available for service.
• Adapt to shift patterns (any 5 days over 7) as discussed at interview.
