An established industry player is seeking a Shift Mechanical Fitter to join their Engineering team. This role involves performing mechanical work on site equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and participating in planned shutdowns. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, hold a trade apprenticeship, and possess good IT skills. We are currently seeking a Shift Mechanical Fitter to join our Engineering team.
About You
You should have demonstrable experience in mechanical engineering and hold a trade apprenticeship with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in engineering. The main focus of this role will be to perform mechanical work on site equipment. Training will be provided. Experience with COMPEX and a good level of IT literacy would be advantageous.
This role is based at our manufacturing site in Neath and operates on a 3-shift pattern, 5 days per week, including mornings, afternoons, and nights.
