Job summary

Stagecoach Lincoln is seeking a friendly, flexible Skilled Shift Fitter to maintain and repair the Company’s fleet to DVSA standards. You will work a 5 days out of 7 shift pattern and use initiative to contribute to a dedicated team.

We offer pay at £18.26/hour, guaranteed 38.5 hours weekly, optional overtime, paid holiday, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles to high standards.
• Proven ability to perform preventative maintenance.
• Ability to carry out roadside and running repairs as required.

Skilled Shift Fitter

Do you take pride in your work?

We are looking for a friendly, flexible and reliable Skilled Shift Fitter who is able to work on their own initiative and will enjoy being part of a friendly and dedicated team. As a Skilled Shift Fitter you would work a variety of shifts on a 5 days out of 7 basis and your role would include maintaining and repairing the Company's vehicles to the strict standards set by both Stagecoach and the DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency)

Duties and responsibilities:

• Repairing and maintaining the Company's fleet of modern vehicles to a high standard
• Carrying out preventative maintenance
• Carrying our roadside and running repairs as necessary

Training and qualifications:

You should ideally be qualified to the following level:

• PCV or HGV City & Guilds
• BTEC
• NVQ Level 3 Engineering in HGV or PSV
