Job summary
Saputo, Inc. is seeking a shift engineer to support two packaging production areas at our UK site. The role focuses on reactive maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment, with emphasis on fault-finding and continuous improvement within a TPM and lean framework.
You will work on automated lines, gain experience with PLCs (desirable) and be part of a team driving efficiency and reliability across the site. A competitive salary and strong benefits package are offered.
Qualifications
- Multiskilled engineer with hands-on experience in production/manufacturing environments.
- Able to carry out fault-finding on a range of equipment including PLCs (desirable).
- Experience applying lean manufacturing tools and TPM in an industrial setting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support two packaging production lines and automated systems.
- Perform fault-finding and corrective actions on mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Utilise lean tools and TPM practices to improve plant efficiency and reduce losses.
- Use CMMS to record work and interpret data for maintenance planning.
