Job summary

Saputo, Inc. is hiring a hands‑on shift engineer to support two packaging production areas. You will maintain automated lines, perform fault‑finding on mechanical and electrical systems, and drive improvements in line reliability and efficiency.

The role involves reactive maintenance, data capture, and a TPM‑driven approach. On‑site work with 4‑on/4‑off shifts (2 days/2 nights) and a salary of £54,790 per year.

Qualifications

• Multi‑skilled engineer with an HNC or HND background.
• Hands-on reactive experience with a broad range of equipment in production/manufacturing.
• Experience with TPM environments and lean manufacturing tools.
• Ability to interpret data from plant performance and CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain multiple automated production lines and packaging equipment.
• Optimize line performance to hit KPIs for reliability and efficiency.
• Capture and record plant performance data for transparency.
• Complete maintenance to drive a predictive approach and prevent failures.
