Job summary

Evoke Plc is seeking an experienced Shift Engineer to join our Engineering team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will carry out planned and corrective maintenance to maximise equipment availability and minimise downtime, working closely with Production and other site teams.

You will diagnose faults, use CMMS to record activities, and lead improvement projects while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background with fault-finding ability.
• Experience in manufacturing environment.
• Experience with planned and reactive maintenance.
• Knowledge of health & safety procedures and permits.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance on plant, machinery and site services.
• Diagnose faults efficiently and implement effective technical solutions to minimise production downtime.
• Ensure all maintenance work is accurately recorded within the CMMS.
• Complete shift handovers and communicate outstanding issues to incoming teams.
