Job summary

Britvic is seeking a Shift Engineer to deliver world-class engineering excellence across mechanical and electrical maintenance, fault resolution and continuous improvement at our UK operations. The role focuses on maintaining manufacturing equipment, building services and utilities to support site performance.

Working 42 hours per week on a 4 on/4 off rotating days and nights pattern, you will drive proactive maintenance, use permit-to-work and risk assessments, and collaborate with operations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an engineering/maintenance role in manufacturing.
• Multi-skilled with electrical bias preferred.
• Experience with KPI-driven, high-volume production environments.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering excellence in fault resolution and maintenance to meet site scorecard targets.
• Promote continuous improvement and best practice in mechanical, electrical, building services, and utilities.
• Maintain equipment, infrastructure and services using corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Lead energy, maintenance and budget strategies to deliver cost-effective results.
• Collaborate with operations to improve outcomes and develop engineering skills across teams.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental policies are followed and contractor activities managed.
