Job summary

INSPIRED Pet Nutrition in Crick is seeking a Shift Engineer to uphold asset availability, maximise reliability and drive improvements across our FMCG site. You will work within a skilled engineering team, conducting proactive maintenance, fault finding and RCA to support safe, efficient manufacturing.

The role includes a company-funded development plan spanning mechanical, electrical and controls disciplines, plus extensive training opportunities to grow into a multi-skilled engineer.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
• Experience as time-served electrical or multi-skilled engineer with electrical bias.
• Experience in FMCG/manufacturing environment and faultFinding capability.

Responsibilities

• Safely maintain asset availability and reliability per engineering strategy.
• Carry out planned, predictive and corrective maintenance to maximise uptime.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and controls faults safely and efficiently.
• Lead root cause analysis for recurring failures and corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement to reduce costs and boost performance.
• Ensure safety and engineering standards compliance and maintain CMMS records.
• Manage critical spare parts and review inventory costs.
• Promote best practice and ongoing learning across the site.
• Support site sustainability, energy reduction and environmental initiatives.
