Job summary

Adecco are recruiting a multi-skilled Engineer for a well-established manufacturing business in the Ledbury area. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and supporting continuous improvement projects.

You will work with production teams to reduce downtime and maintain high safety standards while liaising with contractors and OEMs. The ideal candidate holds an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in engineering, with strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills and

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Knowledge of PLCs, inverter drives and pneumatics.
• Proactive and solution-focused approach.
• Good IT skills including Excel and Word.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Respond to breakdowns and diagnose faults.
• Support continuous improvement projects.
• Produce accurate maintenance reports and root cause analyses.
• Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime.
• Assist with installation and maintenance of site equipment and utilities.
• Promote and maintain high health & safety standards.
• Liaise with external contractors, suppliers and OEMs.
• Support training and development of colleagues.

The Role

About You
