Job summary

LGH Hotels Management Ltd is hiring for a hotel maintenance engineer to support St Martins Lane London and The Sanderson London. You will ensure that all building systems—from air conditioning to ambience—are reliable, safe and guest-ready across shifts.

You'll carry out routine maintenance, fix reactive issues, and assist with projects. A proactive attitude, strong technical knowledge, and flexibility for evenings and weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a hotel or high-end property.
• Strong technical knowledge across building systems.
• A proactive, can-do attitude and a calm approach under pressure.
• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and respond to reactive issues across the hotel.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Log and report issues, ensuring smooth handovers between shifts.
• Support the wider engineering team with projects and upgrades.
• Be a visible, helpful presence for guests and colleagues alike.
