A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi:Skilled Shift Engineer to join a UK known construction manufacturer in the Medway Area.

With no day ever being the same the Multi:Skilled Shift Engineer role offers a 9 day working fortnight, enhanced parental leave and the opportunity to feel valued in a first:class organisation with genuine long:term progression and career development.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Improvisation and maintenance of all facilities across site.
  • PPM and reactive maintenance across the site of all machinery and facilities.
  • Developing and implementing Health and Safety procedures and achieving safety records.
  • Increasing efficiency and decreasing downtime of all machinery across site.
  • Ensuring all equipment meets its performance, availability and quality KPIs.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
  • NVQ level 3 in an engineering field.
  • 2 + years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong continuous improvement knowledge.
  • Experience completing electrical and mechanical maintenance work on a number of different machinery including Motors, Gearboxes, Conveyors, Pumps and PLC fault finding.
  • Knowledge and experience of Health and Safey and Quality standards across a manufacturing site.
