Job summary

Trevett Services is seeking a technically sound Shift Engineer for a high-end corporate building in London Bridge. You will cover M&E maintenance, both planned and reactive, in a client-facing role. Duties include fault finding, UPS, generators, LV systems, power distribution, lighting, AHU/FCU maintenance, and emergency lighting.

Shift pattern is 4 on 4 off, 7am–7pm. In return, you will earn £53,000 per year plus excellent benefits, 20 days annual leave, birthday day off, volunteer days,

Qualifications

• A level 3/equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 18th edition qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Cover all M&E maintenance, both PPM and reactive, across the building.

Based in London Bridge

Trevett Services are working with one of the largest and fastest growing Facilities Management providers in the UK. My client is interested in speaking with technically sound electrical shift engineers to potentially join their team in London Bridge.

The Role:

As a shift engineer, you will be solely responsible for covering all M&E maintenance, both PPM and reactive across the building. Being client facing is a must as you will be working in a high-end corporate building, covering all landlord services.

Typical duties include fault-finding, UPS, generators, LV systems control panels, power distribution, lamping, emergency lighting testing/maintenance, AHU & FCU maintenance and much more.

You will be on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern that includes both days and nights, with hours of work being 7 – 7.

Remuneration and Benefits:

• 20x shifts annual leave
• Birthday paid day off
• 3 paid volunteer days (you are encouraged to take these!)
• Overtime is 1.5x Mon-Sun
• Allocated training allowance – meaning they will put you through qualifications and certificates, for example HVAP
• Holiday buy back up to 5x days
• 3%/5% pension
