Job summary

Alice Rose Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) for a leading global main contractor at a premier commercial building in Moorgate, London. You will join a high-performing on-site engineering team, with a focus on maintaining critical building services and delivering tenant satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification (City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations knowledge.
• Proven experience in commercial or critical environments.
• Strong understanding of building services systems.

Responsibilities

• Electrical maintenance: fault finding, lighting systems, lamp and ballast replacements, control panels, and power distribution.
• Mechanical support: pumps, motors, seals, bearings, and basic mechanical/HVAC systems.
• HVAC & building plant: AHUs, FCUs, air conditioning systems, and emergency lighting.
• Building systems monitoring: BMS operation (trend analysis), chiller resets, and UPS systems.
• Service delivery: ensure efficient operation of building services and tenant experience.
• Team collaboration: work as part of a large, professional on-site engineering team.

Alice Rose Recruitment is partnering with a leading global main contractor as they continue to expand their building services maintenance division. We are seeking an experienced Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a high-performing engineering team at a prestigious commercial office building in Moorgate.

Shift Engineer Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Maintenance: Fault finding, lighting systems, lamp and ballast replacements, control panels, and power distribution
• Mechanical Support: Pumps, motors, seals, bearings, and basic mechanical/HVAC systems
• HVAC & Building Plant: AHUs, FCUs, air conditioning systems, and emergency lighting
• Building Systems Monitoring: BMS operation (trend analysis), chiller resets, and UPS systems
• Service Delivery: Ensure efficient operation of all building services and maintain high standards for tenant experience
• Team Collaboration: Work as part of a large, professional on-site engineering team

Shift Engineer Shift Pattern:

• shift pattern: 4on, 4off days only
• Hours: 07:00 - 19:00
