Westin Par is recruiting a Shift Electrician for our client in Sandwich, Kent. This hands-on manufacturing role offers a £46,000 base salary plus overtime and a comprehensive benefits package.

You'll carry out fault finding, maintenance and repairs on AC/DC motors, work four on, four off, 12-hour shifts, and collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

Formación

• Engineering qualification at NVQ Level 3 or above.
• At least five years relevant electrical and mechanical engineering experience.
• An electrical engineering apprenticeship, ideally within manufacturing.
• Practical experience of root cause analysis and AC and DC motors.
• A fundamental understanding of variable speed drives.
• A calm, practical approach to problem solving under pressure.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

Responsabilidades

Westin Par is recruiting a Shift Electrician for our client in Sandwich. This role would suit an experienced electrical maintenance engineer with a strong manufacturing background. You ll work closely with engineering and production colleagues to keep plant running safely, resolve breakdowns and tackle the causes of recurring faults.

The Role

Salary and Benefits

• £46,000 basic salary plus overtime paid at time and a half.
• A minimum of 25 additional overtime days per year is required as part of the role, providing a regular boost to annual earnings.
• Four on, four off shift pattern, rotating days and nights.
