Job summary

Morgan Jones is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their on-site team in Sandwich, Kent. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment, diagnosing faults, and driving improvements to reliability and safety.

The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, 5+ years' experience, and strong communication skills. The position offers a stable permanent contract with excellent benefits, including private healthcare.

Qualifications

• Formal Engineering qualification to NVQ Level 3 or above.
• Minimum of five years' experience in electrical and mechanical engineering.
• Completed apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience applying engineering knowledge to solve technical problems.
• Strong fault-finding and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience working with AC and DC motors.
• Fundamental knowledge of Variable Speed Drives (VSDs).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Team player with a proactive approach to maintenance.

Responsibilities

Location: Sandwich, Kent

Job Type: Permanent

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off rotating days and nights (12-hour shifts)

Salary: £46,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits
