Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking an Electrical Shift Engineer for a permanent role on-site at a Selfridges site in Central London, Oxford Street. You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance on building services equipment, carry out fault diagnosis, and ensure service levels are met.

You will use tablets to complete job sheets and maintain accurate site records. You will work 4 on, 4 off, 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am shifts, with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical or equivalent.
• 18th edition qualification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on building services equipment.
• Carry out reactive and emergency breakdown tasks.
• Carry out inspections, fault finding and diagnosis.
• Ensure all tasks are completed to service levels.
• Complete job sheets on tablet or smartphone.
• Maintain site log books and records.
• Clean and maintain equipment to maximise life expectancy.
• Identify energy-saving opportunities and recommend improvements.
• Adhere to health, safety, compliance and local policies.
• Maintain excellent customer relationships via face-to-face, phone and email.

There's a permanent opportunity for you here as an Electrical Shift Engineer on our Selfridges site in Central London, Oxford Street

The Role

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to building services equipment
• Carrying out reactive and emergency breakdown tasks allocated
• Carrying out inspections, fault finding and diagnosis
• Ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with agreed service levels
• Completing job sheets electronically on a Tablet or Smartphone
• Maintaining site based records and log books
• Carrying out general cleaning and housekeeping to maximise life expectancy of all equipment
• Proactively working to reduce energy consumption on client sites and recommending improvements
• Working to all health, safety, compliance and local policies and procedures
• Maintaining excellent relationships with our customers – face to face, telephone and email

Hours of Work

• 4 on, 4 off – 7am-7pm/7pm-7am
