Job Title: Shift Electrician

Location: Doncaster

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts (Days & Nights)

Salary: £52,000-£55,000

An established organisation operating across multiple sectors within the food and environmental services supply chain is seeking a skilled Shift Electrician to join their team at a key processing facility in Doncaster. With a strong UK presence, this business provides essential manufacturing and service solutions to a wide range of end markets, including renewable energy, agriculture, food production, and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out electrical installations in an industrial environment

• Performing routine and reactive maintenance on plant machinery and equipment

• Supporting production by ensuring all electrical systems function with minimal disruption

• Conducting risk assessments and maintaining accurate job records

• Collaborating with mechanical and operational teams to ensure efficient plant operation

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety standards

• Providing shift cover and assistance as needed to support the maintenance team

Requirements:

• Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering

• Strong background in electrical maintenance within a continuous process or industrial setting

• Experience with PLC logic systems and inverter drives

• Familiarity with general factory maintenance practices

• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure

• Good communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
