Job summary

Consortium Professional Recruitment is seeking a Shift Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician for East Yorkshire. You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, ensuring machinery reliability on a rotating 12-hour shift.

The role offers a base salary of £56,167 plus overtime and a strong benefits package. Ideal candidates will have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and experience in process manufacturing, with PLC fault-finding skills and a solid H&S background.

Qualifications

• Time-served engineer with strong electrical skills and relevant qualifications.
• Experience in process/manufacturing environments (chemical/FMCG) is essential.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures (LOTO, risk assessments, permit to work).

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Electrical fault finding and repair on motors and control panels.
• Mechanical maintenance on conveyors, pumps, and hydraulics.
• Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety standards.
• Carry out continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Work closely with production to minimise downtime.
