Job summary

The Villeroy & Boch Group, operating Ideal Standard, seeks a multi-skilled Shift Maintenance Electrical Engineer to support a 24h manufacturing plant in Armitage, UK. You will work days, evenings and nights on a solo shift alongside technicians to keep production running and ensure all preventative maintenance is completed efficiently.

Essential: electrical qualifications with 2–3 years’ experience; mechanical skills in pipefitting/welding; PLC knowledge is a plus; strong H&S and regulatory

Qualifications

Electrical qualifications required with 2–3 years relevant experience.
Mechanical qualifications or proven experience in pipefitting, welding and tooling works.
PLC knowledge is advantageous.
Knowledge of health & safety, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair plant/equipment to high standards.
Respond to breakdowns within required timeframes.
Support health & safety/environmental requirements per internal standards.
Provide status information to engineering team leaders on repairs and projects.
Request additional support from technicians or contract engineers when needed.
Update and control engineering reports and spares management.
