Job summary

The Villeroy & Boch Group, operating Ideal Standard, seeks a multi-skilled Shift Maintenance Electrical Engineer to support a 24h manufacturing plant in Armitage, UK. You will work days, evenings and nights on a solo shift alongside technicians to keep production running and ensure all preventative maintenance is completed efficiently.

Essential: electrical qualifications with 2–3 years’ experience; mechanical skills in pipefitting/welding; PLC knowledge is a plus; strong H&S and regulatory

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications required with 2–3 years relevant experience.
• Mechanical qualifications or proven experience in pipefitting, welding and tooling works.
• PLC knowledge is advantageous.
• Knowledge of health & safety, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plant/equipment to high standards.
• Respond to breakdowns within required timeframes.
• Support health & safety/environmental requirements per internal standards.
• Provide status information to engineering team leaders on repairs and projects.
• Request additional support from technicians or contract engineers when needed.
• Update and control engineering reports and spares management.
