Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Shift Electrical Engineer in Hounslow to maintain plant and equipment within a fast-paced environment.

The role covers 4 on/4 off shifts, including days and nights, with duties spanning planned and reactive work and strict safety adherence. The successful candidate will have an engineering background (C&G 2392 or equivalent), strong communication skills, IT literacy, and experience with CAFM systems.

Qualifications

• Qualified engineering background – C&G 2392 or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Proactive, self-motivated with strong safety awareness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good IT skills with understanding of CAFM systems.
• Inquisitive and challenging mindset with the ability to work within a rotating shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant and equipment associated with the building's mechanical and electrical systems.
• Complete both planned and reactive works efficiently and in line with contract and legal requirements.
• Deliver a high‑quality service and uphold strong safety standards.
• Manage workload effectively, prioritising tasks and completing documentation accurately and on time.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and Health & Safety requirements, including training and appraisals.

HOURS: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights) – 4 days 7am–7pm, 4 days off, 4 nights 7pm–7am, 4 days off
