Job description

Job Description:

We’re working on a great opportunity for two experienced Electrical Engineers to step into a shift role within a mission-critical data centre based in Billingham. This position comes with strong long-term career prospects, full training towards HVAP and a work-life-friendly shift pattern.

You’ll be part of a close-knit, skilled engineering team, handling a mix of planned and reactive maintenance across the site. While data centre or critical environment experience is a plus, it’s not essential. We’re really looking for a solid electrical background and someone with a proactive, can-do approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive works on all electrical systems
• Fault-finding, isolations, and general maintenance on building services equipment
• Ensure high standards of site compliance and safety procedures
• Assist with site documentation and logbooks
• Support broader site maintenance tasks as required
  
  

Requirements:

• Electrically qualified (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• IEE BS7671 Wiring Regulations 18th Edition
• Previous experience in building services or facilities maintenance
• Data centre or critical power experience is a bonus but not required
• Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work well within a shift team
• Willingness to become HVAP within 12 months (full training provided)
