Job summary

Pertemps Northampton is recruiting Food Manufacturing Operatives in Northampton on a full-time, shift-based, permanent basis. Starting salary is £34,350, rising to £40,411 after a 5-month probation. Shifts include 06 days on / 4 days off and 18 nights on / 4 nights off.

You will operate production equipment, follow ISO 9001, HACCP and site policies, and support ESG goals by reducing waste and improving efficiency. Training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and carry out tasks to the highest standards following full training.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, including ISO 9001, HACCP, and site-specific policies.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices to maintain product integrity and consistency.
• Support the company's ESG goals by working safely, minimising waste, and reducing the need for product remixes.
• Identify and suggest operational improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain smooth production flow.
