Job summary

Impact Recruitment are recruiting for our client, a leading industrial manufacturing company in their industry, to hire a Production Operative in Northampton NN4.

The role is a hands-on, temp-to-perm opportunity. You will work Monday to Friday, 10am to 7pm, with enhanced pay for overtime and weekend work, and you will receive full training and opportunities for upskilling in a modern, well-equipped site.

Qualifications

• Able to read from pick sheets.
• Competence in taking measurements.
• Comfortable packing and palletising stock.
• Able to move pallets with pump trucks.
• Capable of using hand tools such as mallets and screwdrivers.
• Understand basic assembly processes.
• Prepare items for despatch.
• Maintain high hygiene levels through housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Read from pick sheets.
• Take accurate measurements.
• Pack and palletise stock as required.
• Move pallets using pump trucks in the warehouse.
• Use hand tools such as mallets and screwdrivers.
• Assist with basic assembly tasks.
• Prepare items for despatch.
• Perform housekeeping to maintain hygiene standards.
