Job summary

Edwards & Pearce is recruiting on behalf of a global stainless steel leader for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Sheffield. You will manage electrical works across a heavy engineering plant, maintaining motors, drives, PLCs (ABB and Allen Bradley) and fault finding to component level.

The role operates on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern with a salary of £41,422.09 plus 18.67% shift allowance (£49,155.59 total). An HNC in Electrical Engineering and strong PLC experience are required.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance of motors and drives.
• Fault finding on electronic cards to component level.
• Maintenance of PLC systems ABB and Allen Bradley.
• Reading electrical drawings and reports.

Responsibilities

• Electrical operations in a heavy engineering plant.
• Respond to breakdowns and minimise downtime.
• Maintain furnace control systems and calibration of controllers.
