Job summary

United Infrastructure is seeking a proactive Health and Safety Advisor to join our team in Kilmarnock. You will provide guidance, support, and governance on all SHEQ related matters across projects and the business, helping ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Ideally you hold NEBOSH General or are progressing towards it, with experience in SHEQ, construction or utilities. You will engage with stakeholders, contribute to audits, and develop training to raise safety standards across our

Qualifications

• Ideally hold NEBOSH General Certificate or working towards it.
• Experience in SHEQ, health and safety or construction/utilities is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Experience reviewing and producing SHEQ reports for managers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Communicate, engage and implement the SHEQ strategy.
• Assist and promote local and external audit programmes.
• Ensure compliance with HSES regulations, policies and the BMS.
• Provide SHEQ advice and support at an operational level.
• Identify site SHEQ training needs and support upskilling.
• Coordinate SHEQ activities across the business.
• Assist investigations into near misses, incidents and accidents.
• Promote SHEQ initiatives across projects.
