United Infrastructure is seeking a skilled SHEQ Manager (H&S Manager) to lead the SHEQ team for our Power & Civils Distribution division. Based in Kilmarnock, you will guide governance on all SHEQ matters, manage audits, and ensure compliance across contracts.

You will develop strategies, maintain accreditations, and report KPIs to senior leadership while mentoring colleagues to uphold safety, quality, and sustainability standards.

Qualifications

• Chartered membership of a relevant professional body (NEBOSH/IOSH) or working towards.
• Prior experience in DNO/ICP environments advantageous.
• Educated to Diploma/Degree/HNC level.
• Proven experience leading and managing a team.
• Influencing and persuasion skills.
• Analytical with attention to detail.
• Excellent communicator with leadership and coaching skills.
• Experience reviewing and producing SHEQ reports to executive level.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the SHEQ Advisors per contract, providing leadership and accountability.
• Maintain and drive accreditations (ISO, NERS, Achilles, RoSPA, etc.).
• Develop, implement and monitor SHEQ strategies, policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular internal/external audits.
• Provide training, mentoring and support to the SHEQ team.
• Produce reports, KPI tracking and data analysis for senior leadership.

This role will see you providing guidance, support, advice, and governance to the Projects/Business on all SHEQ related subjects.
