Job summary

Clarke Energy is seeking a Regional SHEQ Lead for the South region (Midlands, Southern England, South Wales) with national travel to Ireland. You will champion health, safety, environment and quality on live construction and service projects, guiding site teams and ensuring adherence to standards.

You will collaborate with Site Managers and Project Managers, review RAMS and CPPs, and drive a proactive safety culture with investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SHEQ on live construction sites.
• Knowledge of UK HSE legislation and CDM 2015.
• Experience with ISO 45001/9001/14001 systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Providing on-site SHEQ leadership across live construction and service projects.
• Ensuring compliance with UK HSE legislation, CDM 2015, and client standards.
• Reviewing RAMS, SSOW, CPPs, and site risk controls.
• Coaching Site Managers and PMs to build strong SHEQ ownership.
• Leading investigations into incidents and near-misses and producing actionable reports.
• Following up on corrective and preventive actions; driving continuous improvement.
• Maintaining accurate SHEQ documentation and updates.
• Supporting audit preparation and certification efforts (ISO 45001/9001/14001).
