Job summary

A leading roofing and cladding contractor is seeking a SHEQ Coordinator to support Health & Safety initiatives. The role requires experience in the construction industry and includes responsibilities like maintaining SHEQ documentation and assisting with audits. This position is office-based in Hulland Ward, with part-time hours possible. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and be highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update SHEQ documentation.
• Assist in the reporting of incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Support in internal and external ISO audits.
• Support initiatives to improve health and safety performance and promote best practices.
• Maintain records of SHEQ activities and performance metrics.
• Support in new site set-up.
• Support in ordering and distributing PPE.
• Support the Training Coordinator.
• Research and ad hoc projects.

Help shape the future of Health, Safety, and Environment in a fast-growing company.

As one of the UK’s leading roofing and cladding contractors, we are looking for a SHEQ Coordinator with experience within the Construction Industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our Health & Safety and Site teams, as well as other departments, in what will be a busy and varied role. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, be highly organised, and have experience in working within the Microsoft Office suite.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update SHEQ documentation, including policies, procedures, risk assessments, and audit reports.
• Assist in the reporting and investigation of incidents, accidents, and near misses, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Assist in internal and external ISO audits, ensuring that all necessary documentation and evidence are available.
• Support initiatives aimed at improving health and safety performance and promoting best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of SHEQ activities and performance metrics.
• Support in new site set-up.
• Support in ordering and distributing PPE.
• Support the Training Coordinator.
• Research and ad hoc projects

Job Type: Part-Time, possibly school hour. Full-Time considered.
