Job summary

Bulkhaul Limited in Middlesbrough (office based) is seeking a proactive SHEQ Co-ordinator to support Safety, Health, Environment, Quality and Security practices. You will ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, conduct audits, deliver training, and maintain robust SHEQ controls.

The role requires a NEBOSH General Certificate and strong communication, with an office-based, permanent full-time arrangement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a SHEQ role
• Strong knowledge of UK SHEQ legislation and best practice
• NEBOSH General Certificate required
• ISO 9001/14001/45001 audits experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Office
• Commitment to continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the SHEQ Manager
• Conduct regular safety audits, workplace inspections, and risk assessments
• Maintain SHEQ policies in line with ISO 9001/14001/45001 standards
• Monitor and report on SHEQ metrics and assist improvement plans
• Deliver safety inductions and training
• Review and draft risk assessments, procedures, policies, and processes
• Provide updates to senior management on SHEQ issues
• Identify trends in business behaviours and practices
• Ensure compliance with SHEQ legislation and company policies
• Oversee ISO audit reports and corrective actions
• Assist in customer complaint investigations and corrective actions
