Job summary

Ipsum is seeking a SHEQ Advisor based in Ilkeston with significant UK travel. Reporting to the Divisional SHEQ Director, you will provide expert guidance and support across Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality matters, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and our SHEQ management systems.

You will work with operational teams, audits, training, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives to promote a positive SHEQ culture and meet targets.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety required.
• IOSH membership at appropriate level.
• Experience in SHEQ roles within utilities, infrastructure, construction or related sectors.

Responsibilities

• Promote and support SHEQ across the group and sites within remit.
• Serve as ambassador for SHEQ, enabling solutions with customers and operations.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, management systems and risk controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to plan, review and achieve SHEQ targets.
• Monitor performance against OH&S Plans and report on deviations.
• Conduct site visits, audits and inspections; provide guidance on corrective actions.
