Job summary

Danaher & Walsh, a family-owned civil engineering contractor based in Mountsorrel, Leicestershire, is seeking a SHEQ Advisor to support Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality performance across all operating regions. This permanent, full-time role will work across our sites and offices.

Your main duties include carrying out regular site and office SHEQ inspections and audits, investigating incidents and near misses, and advising teams on SHEQ management systems.

Qualifications

• Carrying out regular site and office SHEQ inspections and audits, reporting findings and ensuring compliance with agreed programmes
• Investigating incidents, near misses, dangerous occurrences and ill health, preparing reports and presenting SHEQ performance statistics
• Advising site and office teams on SHEQ management systems, procedures and best practice
• Promoting a positive SHEQ culture through engagement, briefings, alerts and proactive initiatives
• Undertaking or reviewing risk assessments, COSHH assessments and HAVS exposure audits
• Identifying non-conformances, implementing corrective actions and helping improve SHEQ systems and procedures
• Liaising with clients, HR and internal teams, representing the company professionally at all times

Responsibilities
