Job summary

Pro-Found Recruitment are seeking an experienced Machine Operator/Shell Saw Operator for our client in Rotherham, S60. The role offers a rotating 2-shift pattern, weekly pay, and a path from temporary to permanent after ~12 weeks based on performance.

The successful candidate will operate and program shell saws, set up machinery, read production sheets, and ensure quality standards while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
• Experience operating machinery within a production setting is required.
• Experience operating and programming shell saws is highly desirable but not essential.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions and production specs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and program shell saw machinery to production specs.
• Set up machinery and adjust cutting parameters for production requirements.
• Read and interpret production specifications and job sheets.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Monitor machine performance and identify basic faults.
• Conduct in-process quality inspections and dimensional checks.
