Job summary

Highland Fuels Ltd is seeking a Filling Station Assistant at our Sheiling location. The role involves serving customers, restocking, and cleaning as part of a friendly team. This 16-hour-per-week contract is fully flexible and requires availability for evenings and weekends, with training provided.

Applicants must be over 18 to sell alcohol; workload includes some heavy lifting and occasional extra hours for holiday cover. The role is on-site at the filling station in Inverness area.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced retail or petrol station environments is helpful.
• Proven ability to handle cash and provide friendly service.
• Ability to work as part of a small team and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers at the filling station, including processing payments.
• Restock products and keep the store and forecourt clean and welcoming.
• Assist with general station duties and maintain safety standards; assist with holiday cover.
• Handle some heavy lifting and lone-working when necessary; adapt to changing rotas.

We are looking for a Filling Station Assistant with excellent customer service skills to join our friendly team at Highland Fuels Sheiling Filling Station.

About The Role

The position includes all aspects of working in a petrol station, including serving customers, restocking, cleaning, etc.

Full training will be provided.

This contract is 16 hours per week, fully flexible.

The filling station operates over a 7-day week with changing rotas, so flexibility over your hours is a must. Working evenings and weekends.

The role will involve some heavy lifting, lone working and extra hours for holiday cover will be required.

As the role requires selling alcohol, applicants must be over the age of 18.

Remuneration: £12.71 per hour
