Location: Isle of Wight - Easily accessible via Portsmouth Hovercraft to Ryde (approx. 40 mins + 1 bus) or Southampton Red Funnel to Cowes (approx. 90 mins + 2 buses)

Rate: £30 - £35 per hour (dependent on experience)

Hours: 40 hours per week | Flexible working available

Contract Length: 6 months (with potential for extension)

We seek a highly skilled Contract Sheet Metal Worker to support manufacturing of aerospace components. The role requires experience with aluminium and maintaining tight tolerances between 0.152 mm to 0.229 mm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate sheet metal parts based on detailed engineering drawings.
• Perform cutting, grinding, welding, and shaping of aluminium to precise specifications.
• Ensure all work meets strict quality and tolerance standards.
• Proven background as a Sheet Metal Worker, ideally within aerospace or similar precision-focused environment.
• Expertise in working with aluminium.
• Ability to achieve extremely fine tolerances (0.152 mm - 0.229 mm).
• Skilled in interpreting and working from technical drawings.
