Job summary

MPI Limited in Prestwick is seeking an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker for an immediate start. The role is ongoing with a standard 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, in a workshop environment focused on specialised sheet metal work for aircraft skins.

Candidates must have aviation experience and an in-date Human Factors Certificate; you will manufacture repair parts using standard workshop equipment and hand skills, working to tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be capable of making the repair parts themselves, using standard workshop equipment (rollers etc.) and hand skills.
• This is specialised work and you will be working to tight tolerances. It is detailed SMW, shrinking, stretching, wheeling, rolling, bending, etc.
• Aviation experience is essential and also an indate Human Factors Certificate

Immediate start

Duration: Ongoing

This contract is deemed out of scope of IR35

Approx 40 hours + per week.

Hours: 7.30am to 4pm, Monday - Friday

• Working in a workshop environment carrying out flush repairs to slat leading edge skins.
• Candidates must be capable of making the repair parts themselves, using standard workshop equipment (rollers etc.) and hand skills.
