Sheet Metal Worker – Precision Engineering

Location: Dorset

Salary: £16 - £20 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Full-time, Permanent

Are you a skilled Sheet Metal Worker with a passion for precision? We're seeking a talented individual to be a key member of the company's Production Team. Based in Dorset, you'll work alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced, high-quality manufacturing environment.

The Role

• Fabricating sheet metal components from detailed engineering drawings and tooling.
• Using a wide variety of machines including Wheeling Jigs, Brake Press, Rollers, Stretch Formers, and Shrinkers.
• Working with aluminium and steel, hand-forming double-curvature parts with precision.
• Keeping your workspace safe, clean, and compliant with H&S standards.
• Collaborating across departments to meet tight deadlines and support project delivery.

The Person

• Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of fabrication techniques and materials.
• Detail-oriented and methodical in your work.
• Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• A proactive team player with excellent communication skills.
• Adaptable, with a hands-on approach and a drive for quality.
