HR GO Group is seeking an Inspector for Sheet Metal and Welding on site in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire. This hands-on quality role involves inspecting fabricated sheet metal, welded and assembled components, and producing clear inspection reports.

You will work with First Article Inspection documentation to AS9102 standards and contribute to continuous improvement within a 5S environment. The successful candidate will have fine-limit inspection experience in manufacturing, proficiency with

Qualificações

• Fine-limit technical/inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using hand measurement tools (vernier, micrometer, etc.).
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings.
• Good attention to detail, communication skills, and problem-solving ability.
• Confident using PC/software systems.

Responsabilidades

• Complete first-off, stage and final inspections of fabricated sheet metal, welded and assembled components.
• Ensure all work complies with customer requirements and industry specifications.
• Produce inspection reports and First Article Inspection documentation to AS9102 requirements.
• Identify and report non-conforming product and support MRB and RCCA activity.
• Maintain inspection and quality records in the quality management system and keep documentation up to date.
• Measure components using hand tools (vernier calipers, micrometers, etc.) and verify against engineering drawings.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
• Maintain 5S and keep your area clean, neat and audit-ready.
