Job summary

Major Bradford Industrial is seeking an experienced Press Operator in Bradford to safely operate sheet metal press machinery and contribute to quality production. You will perform tool changes, basic machine setting, and inspect output to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.

You will read engineering drawings, complete production documentation, and monitor quality, safety, and housekeeping in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Press Operator within a manufacturing or engineering environment is essential.
• Experience with sheet metal presses and tool setting or tool changes.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and set sheet metal press machinery to produce components to spec.
• Carry out tool changes and basic machine setting; monitor production output.
• Perform first-off and in-process quality inspections using measuring tools.
• Read engineering drawings and production documents to verify specs.
• Complete production documentation and report tooling or maintenance needs.
