Job summary

The HEX Group is seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician for its site in Hixon. You will maintain and repair sheet metal fabrication machinery and support a range of industry-leading equipment on-site in Staffordshire.

You will perform planned preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, and participate in TPM initiatives. An on-call rota is included, with occasional holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining machinery within a sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Flexible approach and willingness to support operational requirements.
• Experience of TPM procedures.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and repairing sheet metal fabrication machinery.
• Supporting a Range Of Industry-leading Equipment including Amada press brakes, Trumpf punches, lasers and press brakes, Bystronic fibre laser systems, Gema powder coating equipment, LEV systems.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance activities.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.
• Supporting TPM activities.
• Participating in an on-call rota (1 week in 3), including occasional holiday cover.
